Jaguar-Odyssey Footnotes

Dawn of Eden’s Mermaid Garden/Waterfall

Ample time for integration and recuperation is important. The traditional medicine-plant Ayahuasca is about healing and personal transformation. For this to take place in a desirable fashion, one’s body needs ample opportunity for rest and recuperation between ceremonies. Additionally, one needs time to integrate (mentally and emotionally) what has transpired from one ceremony to the next. This is especially true when one engages the transformational and healing potential of The Jaguar-Odyssey.

Consequently, our Odyssey-retreats are limited to two ceremonies per week, the first ceremony being on Tuesday, the second on Friday. This allows sufficient time for rest, recuperation and integration between works. Incidentally, the choice of these two ceremonial days is not by chance. In shamanic circles, Tuesdays and Fridays have long been known as the optimal days to have a connection with Spirit.

Exercise is encouraged, and a daily workout is manageable for those interested as gym equipment is available onsite. Alternatively, it’s possible to take a walk in the nearby Plaza Munich located just one block from the center. Yoga is also beneficial for those who follow this discipline, and participants are welcome to bring a yoga mat.

Other items to bring:

The Jaguar-Temple of Transformation

Shorts and T-shirts are ideal for the Amazon climate along with some comfortable walking shoes and sandals. Those who prefer to travel light will be pleased to know our sanctuary has a laundry facility onsite (with very reasonable rates). A backpack, water bottle, and poncho are recommended for some of our outings and a swim suit if you wish. Of course, you will likely want to bring a camera or smart phone to commemorate your personal Odyssey with photos.

The Dawn of Eden Sanctuary

Our sanctuary is a controlled environment. Our guests may see the occasional insect or mosquito, but the risk of malaria from mosquito bites—such as one might encounter in a jungle-retreat—is almost nonexistent. Even so, participants may wish to bring some insect-repellant for our jungle-outings solely as a precaution.

Personal experiences will vary, but The Jaguar-Odyssey can be rich in mystical, life-enhancing ceremonies. Many will take delight in unbounded otherworldly adventures.

The Jaguar-Temple of Transformation

The Odyssey may be challenging at times, but the transformational benefits are priceless. If you resonate with Dawn of Eden’s messaging you may feel “called” to experience the Odyssey. It takes a certain amount of courage to step into the unknown. We applaud your decision to do so and look forward to your participation.

The Jaguar-Shamans

The Jaguar-Shamans attribute healing and transformation occurring in their ceremonies to the Egyptian deities, the spirit of Mother Ayahuasca, their jaguar-spirit allies and other divine beings in service to humanity.
