“Set & Setting” play a valuable role in medicine-work for the simple fact that one’s surroundings matter. A relaxed, carefree state-of-mind is highly desirable if one wishes to optimize their spiritual growth during an Ayahuasca-retreat. The shamanic work alone is challenging enough. It isn’t ideal to pursue in less-than-pleasant conditions or in an atmosphere that is disagreeable or uncomfortable in any way. Doing so can be detrimental or severely impede one’s progress.

 

Our goal is to facilitate spiritual transformation of the highest order. Thus, our center was built from the ground up with an eye toward comfort and security. We provide graceful surroundings and upscale accommodations, with all the comforts of home, to help our guests achieve their fullest potential in our transformational ceremonies.

 

Rest is essential when pursuing shamanic work on the level of a Jaguar-Odyssey. Our Guest Rooms provide amenities for safety, comfort, and security rarely found in other Ayahuasca-retreats. Our high-standards allow program participants to be relaxed, well-rested, and free from safety and security concerns, so they can better focus on whatever might be their goals

 

 

Our two-person [twin-bed, double-occupancy] rooms may also be booked as a private room. Each room features top-quality mattresses, ceramic-tile floors and an overhead ceiling fan. What’s more, every room is equipped with air-conditioning for those hot, sultry days one encounters in the Amazon. This A/C amenity [the ultimate luxury for an Ayahuasca-retreat] is no small thing. Many guests find the A/C enables a more restful sleep, and it’s ideal for participants who prefer a nap prior to ceremony.

 

There’s a closet in every Guest Room plus foot-of-the-bed drawers for clothing and personal belongings.  A big plus [and another extravagant luxury for an Ayahuasca-retreat] is every Guest Room features a private-bathroom with toilet, sink, and hot-and-cold-water showers.

 

Wi-Fi is present throughout the sanctuary, and each of our Odyssey Guest Rooms is equipped with a 32-inch TV/monitor. Guests may connect their laptop or tablet to this TV/monitor. And, Direct TV is available as well. Those who prefer to travel without electronics may use Dawn of Eden’s Internet Café [next door to the center]. And, those who prefer to travel light will be pleased to know there’s a laundry facility onsite with reasonable rates.

 

In Recognition of our Jaguar-Spirit Allies

 

Jaguar-Odyssey participants quickly discover we pay homage throughout our center to our Jaguar-Spirit allies. This is true for Odyssey Guest Rooms as well.

 

Guests will find a Chavin-style Jaguar-image engraved on the principal [and bathroom] door of every Odyssey Guest Room. This same image is engraved on the headboards of every bed, and a specially commissioned jaguar oil-painting adorns one wall of each Odyssey Guest Room
