The Jaguar-Shamans: Animal spirits frequently serve as allies in the shamanic world. This is common knowledge. Positioned at the top of the hierarchy of such animal allies are the jaguar-spirits. Given their high level of power and authority, the jaguar kingdom can interface directly with divine beings. They are agents of transformation—spiritual intermediaries of the highest order.
Jaguar-spirits may work with any shaman if he or she is fortunate enough to have a connection with the jaguar kingdom. They have free will to choose with whom they wish to work. Even so, they always elect to work only with shamans who have good intentions and a pure heart.
A deeper relationship can exist between a shaman and his or her jaguar-spirit counterpart than that of mere allies. The jaguar-spirit can literally merge, in ceremony, with the shaman in question resulting in the so-called, Jaguar-Shaman. Such a merger is conditional upon the shaman having mastered the requisite training to support such a full-on union. Additionally, since Jaguar-Shamans wield considerable power, these sorts of spiritual dons (gifts) require the blessings of the deities. Jaguar-Shamans are between-world mediators of a high-order.
A visual depiction of this sort of human/spirit transformation exists in artworks from the original Jaguar-Temple of Transformation. The stone carving known as The Estella Raimondi portrays this phenomenon. Seen right-side up, the artwork illustrates a deified entity metaphorically representing the ascending shaman [in ceremony] with the plant-medicine, Huachuma. If the artwork is turned upside down, it depicts the transformed shaman, now merged with his jaguar-spirit ally. The Estella Raimondi originated in the Mountain Village of Chavin de Huantar but is now on display in a Lima museum.
Another portrayal of this jaguar-spirit/human merging may be seen in the carved heads found at the Chavin temple. Over one hundred of these were originally mounted to the temple’s exterior wall with a large tenon. For that reason, they are known as tenon-heads.
The carvings depict the various stages—from human to jaguar—the shaman undergoes during the process of this transformation.
Apart from serving as agents of transformation, jaguar-spirits serve as protectors. They are constantly fending off attacks by dark forces. The jaguar kingdom affords such protection during Dawn of Eden ceremonies as well.
Dan Reynolds, a shaman-priest, facilitates Dawn of Eden‘s ceremonies with his close associate, Denis Montes, a gifted shaman-Oracle. They are devoted practitioners of ancient shamanic arts and serve as spiritual intermediaries for Horus and the Egyptian deities in The Dawn of Eden Project. To prepare for their service in the long-awaited celestial-initiative, Dan and Denis relinquished their former lives. Their readiness required they accept arduous apprenticeships with the sacred medicine-plants, Ayahuasca and Huachuma.
Rigorous training, overseen by Horus and their jaguar-spirit mentors, resulted in the resurrection of rarely seen shamanic abilities—gifts bestowed in past lives [including Egyptian]. As Jaguar-Shamans—between-world mediators of a high-order—they consider their anointed roles in the Egyptian-initiative to be the crowning glory of their spiritual lives.
Prior to engaging his shamanic life, Denis Montes was working as a computer technician to support his wife and two sons. He recently completed his degree in chemical engineering. Denis possesses many extraordinary gifts to include that of being an Oracle. His abilities for multi-dimensional travel have allowed him to come into contact with a wide range of divine entities. His Oracle-gifts permit him to converse with such entities in ceremonies or through dreams. All these encounters have been intentional on the part of the divine entities to convey information or special energies in support of The Dawn of Eden Project. Apart from his shamanic contributions, Denis manages all staffing and day to day operations for Dawn of Eden.
Dan received a graduate degree in marketing and business administration from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Prior to his move to Peru, his professional life was essentially that of an ordinary businessman engaged in the sales and marketing of high-technology products. That changed in the late eighties when Dan experienced his own spiritual awakening. He then realigned the focus of his marketing career by becoming director of marketing for The Monroe Institute and its sister company, Monroe Products, a Virginia-based organization which distributes audio products containing a proprietary audio-guidance technology known as Hemi-Sync®. Although it has a variety of applications, this technology can be used for exploring higher states of consciousness.
In 2002, Dan answered his primary calling in this life to resurrect his past-life gifts as a shaman using the sacred plant-teachers, Ayahuasca and Huachuma. In 2006, Dan relocated to Peru and subsequently established Dawn of Eden.

Dawn of Eden® is the only fully licensed shamanic center in Iquitos that is a member of the Chamber of Commerce. The Dawn of Eden Church is the only church in Peru dedicated to the transformation of human consciousness utilizing the sacred plants Ayahuasca and Huachuma as a sacrament.
